Hit it and quit it

Okay, not really. But I have to wonder if all parties involved realize things are rapidly approaching a dead end?

American Uni's

I miss you. I miss your grading system, and your little assignments I used to see as busy work but will never complain about again, and your clear instruction on assignments worth a God-awfully large amount of my grade, and your final tests that aren't 40 minutes from campus and 40% of my grade, and so much more..

I don't feel like I can do anything right here. I got one good grade on one bloody test. I suck at everything else. I can't even do photography. Photography for Heaven's sake. Who knew I was going to have to Photoshop my way to a passing grade. AND, sweet little tutor lady grades impossibly hard. I hate the statement "could have done this/perhaps this would've been a good idea." I GUARANTEE if I would have done those things she would have found something else that "perhaps, I could have done." This folks, is what one could describe as a lose-lose situation.

Dear Deakin, try to stop being impossible. K, thanks

My heater is on

and I don't like that one bit. What happened to the common misconception [that I may or may not have bought into] that Australia was 90 degrees F year round? Hmph.

Eating a very large carrot in a crowded room is just plain awkward.

I FINALLY did something well in my education here. Tore the roof off this Sociology test. Got one wrong to give me a 96%. If I am not mistaken, that is not only a D, but an HD (high distinction). I AM bragging because, unfortunately, I am afraid these moments may be few and far between.

Soo, they have a Costco here and a trip there made for a very happy time in my life. I kept it below trip didge including my refueling at the food court. LML

But wait, Jacinta, Paula, Cara, and I continued our Sunday onto Hosier Lane, a famously graffitied alleyway near the most central part of Melbourne (by Fed Square). It was soo cool. I plan on going again before I leave as the artwork changes all the time. To say 'art' almost seems like an understatement. I saw some of the coolest/most vibrant drawings/ideas/stencils/colors I have ever seen. Here are a few examples, more on my FB.

I'm certainly uncertain, at least I'm pretty sure I am

I am not a big fan of undecisiveness yet I repeatedly find myself participating in it. Mostly on the big things, but I guess that's how it goes. I can be very into something one minute and with a nights rest, the negative things shift to the front of my mind, overtaking the postitive, and I am not such a supporter the next time a bit of pondering goes into the thought.

I guess that's why it's good to 'sleep on it'. But it seems a little unfair if I slept on it and dreams altered my perspective. Good or bad, I wake up feeling whatever the dream made me feel and it takes me a while to distinguish reality from the surreal. On the bright side, not that this is entirely dark but more overcast, I am getting enough sleep to be dreaming which happened scarcely last semester.

hyper masterchef

I am a healthy cooker! Okay, not always, but I do pretty good. Very conscious of what's going on in my food. Tonight I made lettuce wraps, brown rice included! They were also vegetarian (mostly because I didn't take any meat out of the freezer) and the sauces weren't bad. Used a l'il teriyaki and sweet chilli to figure out which one was preferable. Def went with the teri. AND while those were cooking (and this is may not be the healthiest thing ever, but could be worse, like the chocolate I plan on consuming after this post. At least it's dark!) I made whole-grain pita chips! Except I was so focused on getting them in the oven in a timely manner, I forgot to cut up fresh garlic to put on them. However, I did find some sea salt that I saw as a necessity. Anyways, SO GOOD. Feeling very accomplished especially because I didn't know what I was making until I was making it. I am also rambling, which is not unusual.

I WANT TO GO CAMPING! So badly. I do love the outdoors (so Idaho of me!). Campfires/cigars/exploring/fresh air/food/hot springs/warm sleeping bags etc..

T.G.I Fridays this weekend along with a little Designer Fashion Outlet shopping! And obv Gelat. Yayyy!

Oh, AND I HAVE THE BEST FRIENDS IN THE WORLD. Got another package today. LML

Okay, the chipped sweet tooth beckons. Cheers

Reevaluate

If the best thing you can say about a person is their profession of choice, then they most likely are not worth it.

Potentially making big bucks does not erase the wrongs done, or those that inevitably will be done. Call me pessimistic, but I've got this one figured out and will not support a mistake.
